get ready for me

Dit grootse avontuur begon met de protestsong ‘Get ready for me!’ uitgebracht in mei 2023. Dit lied gaat over opstaan voor jezelf en is bedoeld om je mee te laten zingen met een lekker drankje in je hand. Dit nummer is geproduceerd door Hans Krohn (Leuven, België) en gemasterd door Sefi Carmel (UK).

NOW IS OUR TIME

‘Now Is Our time’ is de tweede single en borduurt voort op ‘Get ready for me’ door gebruik te maken van dezelfde lyrics maar dan met een uptempo beat. Door gebruik te maken van catchy synthesizers heeft dit nummer een echte 80’s vibe. Daarbij is een is een intrigerende videoclip gemaakt met een veelbelovende jonge Belgische actrice. Het nummer is geproduceerd door Guus Fluit (Leuven, België) en gemasterd door Robin Schmidt (Duitsland). Hans Krohn verzorgde de zanglijnen zowel in ‘Get ready for me’ als ‘Now is our time’.

desire

‘Desire’ is a danceable 119BPM popsong with a typical ‘nineties’ vibe, featuring Kim Malou. It has a very catchy beat and the organ really keeps you listening to the end of the song. This song is about a girl that has fallen crazy in love with a boy she is compulsively following on social media and dreams about making him her boyfriend. The vibe and sound of ‘Desire’ is meant to give you that thrilling summer feeling and enjoy life as much as you can. ‘Desire’ was produced by Guus Fluit (Brussels, Belgium) and mastered by Sander van der Heide (the Netherlands).

better off

‘Better Off’ is the ultimate result of an accidental encounter at a chiringuito at the beach of Costa Brava, Spain. As we were already finalizing our original version of Better Off, we met this very promising, young Swiss deejay/producer Mind Tea (Medhi Magnol). This lead to making a remix together that brought a very big smile on our face from the beginning! Together we pushed ourselves to get better and better and the final version turned out to be so good and so well received that we decided to release this version first. This track is an intriguing combination of Pop and Drum&Bass and is about finally realizing you could be so much better off on your own. This track is also featuring a young and talented singer Loïs Margo. While Mind Tea was in full charge of this remix production, Guus Fluit was the producer of the original version of Better Off and consulted on this project. Mastering was again conducted by Sander van der Heide.

You think?

You Think? is the result of one year experimenting and finetuning. Based on an original idea of Perry Moorman, we got the help and input of great musicians like Hans Henrik and MindTea. Again, Guus Fluit was responsible for production as was Sander van der Heide for mastering. From the beginning, the internal project name was ‘Beachclub version’ and we were aiming for a captivating, groovy summer vibe. We hope we did a great job. So please, just picture yourself on the beach on a beautiful summer evening, with an amazing sunset, a warm, soft seabreeze and a really nice drink in your hand…. Go ahead and let the mesmarizing beat of ‘You Think?’ take you there and enjoy the warm, jazzy voice of Jaël Loïs!

Happy without you

Our current release ‘Happy Without You’ is a real happy tune! Carefree! It’s about breaking up and moving on. It’s very easy to sing and dance to. Featuring Loïs Margo, a young and talented singer. Loïs Margo used to sing in bands and perform on big stages from early on. She’s still having singing lessons from one of the most famous singingteachers in the Netherlands. In this case we’ve been influenced by Modern Talking and Ricci E Poveri. The track was produced by Guus Fluit and mastered by Sander van der Heide. The song originally started off with the internal project nickname ‘chocolate’ because Guus had to work with very raw telephone recordings of Perry and make them come alive (turn them into ‘real chocolate’).
